This weekend my oldest sister and her husband came to visit me for 3 days before going onto Austria and England. It was great to see them again after the wedding! (They are the people I flew back for when they got married in April) I showed them my city and the bridge we are famous for, our Christmas markets and on one day we went to Kiel to visit their Christmas markets. There we met two of my sisters friends from Germany and Switzerland and had a good night at one of Kiel’s restaurants. On the last night, my host family made a social Dinner of Grünkohl which is kale and sausages and is very typical for North Germany in the colder months. We had my second host family over and also my host grandparents and some family friends 🙂 it was a pretty great weekend!
